Maitre D'oor : MOUNTING

The Syver-Tech Maitre D'oor can accommodate most sliding door sizes and designs. The majority of installations fall into the examples illustrated below.
Also, please keep in mind:

� Review the options, more than one may apply.
� Extra hardware is provided to cover these installations.
� Minor modifications to brackets may be required.



 

Mounting Option 1 : Flush Mount (short or long door bracket)

  • A section of the upper door trim
    (if applicable) will need to be removed
    to allow the Operator to lay flush against the wall.

     
  • The Operator will protrude 3" out from the wall. Window treatments may need to be adjusted.

     
  • The long door bracket is used if the door
    is recessed up to 2 1/2" in from the wall.

     
  • The door bracket may need to be
    cut back if it interferes with positioning
    the motion sensor.

     
  • If enough space is available, you may want to consider using the Under Mount

    Short Bracket

Mounting Option 2 : Under Mount (short or long door bracket)

  • Door must be recessed a minimum
    of 1-1/4" in from the wall.

     
  • Operator may protrude only slightly,
    usually eliminating the need for
    adjustments to window treatments.

     
  • Door bracket is hidden behind operator.

     
  • Drive lever is not used.

     
  • Drive Dog engages directly into
    door bracket.
